Chapter 1 : Start

This story starts with a beautiful day of spring. In a deep forest, a thirteen years old girl walked alone of a quiet step on a path. Rather big for her age, her purple dark hair bound on the side, the eyes quite as purple, she advanced thus for soon two days. She had not eaten anything since her departure, but she was not hungry. The lollipop which she had in the mouth was enough for her. Mari, it was the girl’s name, was awaited in the village located at the end of this forest, but with a natural serenity, she was not really in hurry.
Since some walks, she heard odd noises in the thickets. They were not animals, she was sure.
She was followed. But not the least trace of anxiety could be read on her face. She waited until they are shown, and they would do it early or late. Then she continued to walk. Some walks further, which she awaited produced finally. Five men left filled and encircled her quickly. They had all a bad look and were armed with knives and sticks. The girl stopped and one by one disfigured them all, her lollipop always in the mouth. The biggest of the band which was to be the chief spoke.
"But what hav’ we got here?? Nobody told you, little girl, that it’s dangerous to walk alone in wood? "
His four companions laughed stupidly and tightened the circle. Mari did not say anything and continued to look them with a look of astonishment and incomprehension
"Enough! It’s finished playing little girl! Giv’ us your money!
- I don’t have any money, she said without removing her lollipop of her mouth.
- Really?? I don’t believe you! But we will see that immediately! We’re gonna play a bit with you and we will see if you don’t have any money! "
There, one more time, the others laughed brutally. And the gang leader started to approach his knife towards the throat of the girl. Then Mari squats herself abruptly and leaps by top head of
those who held her under their control. Back on the ground, she turned over and spoke to them, smiling:
"I don’t advise you to follow me."
The band of robbers, nailed initially by the surprise, finally started to realize what occurred. "You, little..." began the chief.
But he didn’t have time to finish his sentence.
« CRAAAAAAAAAAAK »
A terrible noise was heard and the five robbers started to cry by seeing a gigantic tree falling to them above. Mari, on her side, had started again her quiet walk, the lollipop always in the mouth. She had not been turned over while hearing the fall of the tree, and had not done it either with the cries that now the robbers pushed. She was neither insane nor insensitive. No, it was simply the kind of adventure which arrived to her every day.

At the end of the afternoon, Mari achieved finally her goal. Far away, across the trees, she could see the first steps of the high walls of Konoha and the many houses which they sheltered. It was not the first time that the girl went in this village, but she felt each
time a feeling of joy in her mind. Konoha was a so green, so merry village and its inhabitants were all very nice. It was unfortunately not the case of the village where she came from. It’s
thus with the smile and a step more active that the girl took again her road. She was very close to the village, when a white, motionless thing in the medium of the path, made her slow down. A new trap? No, it was in fact a small rabbit, trembling, and which was obviously wounded within sight of its red leg. Mari stopped two steps away of the rabbit and squats herself. She
did not like specially animals but she hated to see somebody, human or animal, to suffer. Going slowly, she approached the small animal gently, tightening the hand to it. The rabbit trembled more than ever.
"Quiet, quiet, small rabbit. I won’t hurt you."
But with a jump and the forces which remained to it, the white rabbit leaps in the thickets. Without taking the time of the reflexion, Mari engulfed herself there too. Progressing through the coppices, she drew aside the low branches researching the small white rabbit. When finally she saw it, this one ran away again again, involving her always further from the path. The rabbit and the girl continued their game during a few minutes, when Mari heard voices and realized that three shades arrived right on her. But the white flash that she saw spinning fast of the ground made her return to her goal: the rabbit. It is only at this time that she distinctly heard what the voices shouted.
"Be careful! "
It was just the moment Mari chose to plunge ahead and to catch the small white rabbit. She heard something in her back and saw a score of kunai being planted in the trunk behind her. Astonished, the rabbit in her arms, she was raised and there were then paper bands posed
on trees started to explode all around her. Without doing any movement of protection, she launched a surprised glance on what surrounded. The three shades she had seen just before was now in front of her and looked at her, horrified.
"Please don’t move! launched a young boy of her age, rather fatty.
- You fell in our training place, added a blond girl.
- Never seeing that... increased a boy with dark hair rather quiet”
Mari examined more attentively the three young people in front of her. They had all the same forehead protector. The forehead protector of Konoha.
"Great! You’re from Konoha! I was precisely going to your village. But when I saw this small animal, I couldn’t...
- Don’t move!! howled at the same time the three young people.”
While speaking, Mari had approached them and had thus left the place from where she was supposed not to move. The three ninjas of Konoha remained an open large mouth, in a position between waiting and defense. Mari was now right in front of them, but nothing seemed to have happened. In front of the confused and stoic expression of her interlocutors, Mari continued her presentation alone.
"Thus I said that I wanted to help this small rabbit. And... Oh yes, I was convened by your Hokage. It seems that you need my talents here. I don’t know what it’s about, but  I
don't care. It’s great for me to come here and to see your country... "
The blond girl, who was the most surprised, frantically
pointed her finger towards the place where Mari was held a few moments ago.
- "Shikamaruuu! Did you see... did you see what I saw???
- Be quiet Ino... Let her finish... answered the boy with his trailing voice"
Mari indeed had not stopped her speech
" But I didn’t present myself. I’m Miyamoto Mari and I’m a ninja of the earth country. I come from Iwa. I have a scroll for your Hokage, although it’s her who invited me.
- A ninja from Iwa… It’s a bit equivocal, isn’t it? Said  Ino to her companions."  
Shikamaru raised the shoulders as a sign of answer and his last companion pushed a growl while swallowing a package of potato chips.
"Chouji! It’s not the right time to eat! Don’t you think we have another things to do? said the girl.
- Oh, potato chips!”  Mari was surprised.
“ I have eaten anything for two days. Can I take some?
- Of course, answered Chouji with a smile
- Chouji! We don’t know anything about this girl! She is a ninja enemy! You can’t... howls Ino
- Do you want lollipops? I always have some in my bag, increased Mari without doing care about Ino.
- Yes, thanks.
- But, but... "
Ino was in real anger, and she believed to hallucinate when she saw Chouji and Mari to move away in direction from the village while speaking and eating quietly.
" Shikamaru! Say something, begged the girl.
- Drops... I don’t think there’s any problem.
- But you saw the traps just like me, you saw what happened? She was inside and she  doesn’t have any scratch! And now she wants to see the Hokage! Don’t you find that odd?
- Alright...
- And this last trap! Why didn’t it work? "
While saying this, she walked quickly towards the place where Mari was held little time ago. But she hardly posed her foot on the zone that a bunch of pointed stakes left the ground abruptly. Ino cried and would have surely fallen to the shift if Shikamaru hadn’t caught her.
"Ino...
- What did I say to you, what did I tell you!!!!!!! howled the girl stronger than ever.
- It’s so troublesome... This girl’s very lucky. "
